we have to have insurance on my wife's children all the time as the divorce states. as the transportation industry changes and it is our livelyhood, we must move around to keep up. there are waitng periods that keep us from having insurance 3 to 4 months at a time. we are a quite healthy family and wish to remain that way but as we all know things could happen and we can not afford to go with out health insurance at any time.. If you would, please concider us as prime candidates for your health insurance. thank you for your time, david

Insurance is expensive and the co-pay adds an additional $100-$200 a month to cost. Sometimes more with the prescriptions.

I have purchased insurance and it was not the program that it was represented. I have been stymied to find affordable insurance that will cover my general needs. I am profoundly unsettled that Congress is able to have a Cadillac program, for life, and I cannot find any program that will assit in paying my day to day needs.

I have had problems with insurance companies charging me a alot of money and then not covering something. Saying the problem was prior and they wont cover it. Well aren'tmost thing prior when you look for insurance. It is not like I have a terrminal illness or chronic illness that cost millions over the years.

I had health coverage in Las Vegas, NV through my employer with Humana. When I left Nevada, I lost this coverage. The coverage was sufficient for my needs and I am looking to replace it with a similar plan. An HMO is fine for me, as I have no health issues.

I NOW FIND THAT IT COSTS 20 OF MY MONTHLY INCOME TO PROVIDE ME AND MY WIFE WITH NECESSARY HEALTH INSURANCE WHICH I CONSIDER TO BE VERY EXHORBITANT. BEING RETIRED AND ON A FIXED INCOME I HAVE TO BE VERY SELECTIVE AS TO WHAT I SPEND. PREVIOUS TO 2009 MY INSURANCE WAS PAID FOR MY EMPLOYER WITH A SMALLER CO-PAY FROM ME.

Insurance is becoming too expensive for the average family to afford, that's very disturbing.I think more people would have insurance if more affordable, maybe in this case quantity is better

We had a very good insurance company policy, for years, and were satisfied, then the rates got really to expensive, after retirement. We seem to be happy now with this one, but rates are due for an increase starting next year.

Why is Health INSURANCE so criminally expensive?
Isn't there a plan where a middle class person can pay every month and get Health Care only on those payments? NO DEDUCTIBLES! What is the point in making monthly payments if when you have a serious illness, hospitalization, etc you probably have to sell your house to pay it off?
I have been pretty healthy all my life. What would i do if I had a serious condiiton?? It is scary.
Insurance companies only seem to look at money. People don't matter at all.

I'm currently a substitute teacher where there are no health benefits and I'm also employed by a church also no benefits. Used to work at Prudential did have benefits then. Have tried in the past to maintain a discounted benefits plan but was not able to keep up at the time with the monthly payments because of hardships.

I have had a good experience with BCBS of SC. The only comment I would like to make is that their processing time has doubled more the last three or fours years. I used to receive an EOB within 7-10 days now, it's 3 to 4 weeks.

We have been refused because of my husbands health issues, our age, and our weight. When we are not refused it is so expensive that you need to be independently wealthy to pay for it. If that were the case we would not need insurance. I became unemployed at the begining of the year. My husband works for a small business that does not provide insurance for their employees. Cobra is outrageous and unaffordable. If either of us become sick or injuried we will be sickly or disabled for the rest of our lives. Or worse we will not survive. This is America, a country where things are supposed to work for all. It appears more and more however, that unless you are poor so that the government pays for everything, or independently wealthy you don't matter.
