It is incrediable the high cost of health insurance in this country. This is caused in part my the insane charges of the drug industries and the hospitals. Hospitals charge insurance companies for services and drugs the patient never got and no one seems to care to do anything about this. I was in the hospital for 1 night, just an overnight stay due to bronchitis. I was charged for chemo and radiation drugs. I proved this was inaccurate and no one cared. Do you think I am the only one that this is done too? Not hardly, but again no one cares.

After being with Blue Cross for a number of years...I have found that their programs offer little consequence on regular doctor visits...medications...etc.
In case of Major Medical, I am sure I would be happy to have their coverage... but with the high co-pays...high deductibles...limits...and high premiums... This is why I am inquiring about a new carrier...like Cobra. Friday, November 06, 2009

I have no coverage on myself at this time. I had to let it go because it was only offered to me at the rate for a limited time and it had ended. With no coverage I will not get the treatment or the respect I deserve without medical insurance. I pray I don't get deathly sick, but I just can't afford to pay the going price that all insurance companys want, not on my budget. I am in desperate need of help.

My experience is that they all are overpriced and no coverage, and I'm hoping a bill gets past to make insurance affordable for all. Their are to many people without insurance and especially in the state of North Carolina.
